NEW TECHNIQUES

New techniques same old tools. Paper bowl out of old newspapers. I'm thinking of sticking with paper and seeing how far I can go with it. Bowls, tiles, blocks, and pulp what else can I make.
Here are some of the newer bowls accompanied by the original piece They just like everything I make are time consuming. Each taking about 48 hours to dry and then about another 24 hours to paint. The end product is well worth all the work.

Acorn Creations

I guess it always happens on a walk, creativity wakes up. On one of these walks, I went to collect acorns and acorn hats. Here is the product of this walk, various necklaces, a pin and some earrings.

Jewelry Collections

It all begins with the simple and complex shapes in nature. One broken swirled shell led to and explosion of creativity. Many mussel shells later the combination were endless and still are. No two pieces will ever be alike and no design composition can ever be replicated. Each shell and piece used to build the pendant or pin is unique, making this collection the more interesting and special. After exhausting the ideas the rut of shells began. For now they lie in wait for me to embrace them once more with my other friends glue and wire.

Coney Island Collection 2008
A variety of findings from various trips to the beach.

This collection still in-progress seemed a bit simpler. Which has forced me to work harder to make pieces that are interesting and fun.

Vases from plain to beautiful

I found these vases and wondered what to do. After looking through fashion magazines and wondering what to do with them. I recycled the images with the most color and texture and applied them in a variety of ways.
